I’ve learned a lot through this training process about not overdoing it. Part of me worries I’m not training enough. Am I getting enough miles in, am I lifting heavy enough, will I be prepared? But I need to trust in the process and realize that without rest my body can’t recover, and won’t continue pounding the pavement and performing like it should. So some days it’s important to honor your body for working so dang hard for you, and take it easy. Chill. Breathe. Be still. And heal the soul. ?‍♀️
