The start of a new school year is always emotional for me since one of my children isn’t starting school this year (and hasn’t for the last 6 years). I won’t have a first day school picture of him, and actually only have one from the year he participated in a co-op at age 1 1/2. Some days it’s hard to get out of bed and I’d rather just crawl in a hole and stay there awhile. This morning I slept instead of doing a workout. I didn’t plan to do one this afternoon either but I had a headache and knew if I just moved my body, for even a few minutes I wouldn’t regret it. And I didn’t!!! I feel so much better!! .I don’t post this for sympathy. Don’t feel bad for me. We ALL have challenges, trials, heart ache and disappointments. Life is hard AND beautiful! But it’s so important that you also take some time for yourself each day. Move your body. Find an outlet. Do something you love, even if (and especially WHEN!) you’re not feeling like doing so. You won’t regret it!!
