I bend so I don’t break. 🧘‍♀️. My yoga studio burnt down a few weeks ago which is totally heart breaking for many reasons. But obviously since then I haven’t gone to yoga and haven’t taken the time I should, to stretch! I’m horrible at stretching at home after a workout and this morning I could feel the consequences of neglecting that aspect of my workouts. I was stiff and sore so I took some time to be still and stretch. Doing yoga exercises and movements are absolutely just as important, if not more so, than any other workout you do. When you put the time in to slow down and stretch your body, you significantly help to prevent injury.
