The best thing a surgeon said to me 10+ years ago was that I will never be a runner. I walked out of that office more determined than ever. ‘Want a bet?’ … is what I wanted to say. But I didn’t. I could just feel the fire fueling inside. 9 1/2 years ago another amazing surgeon did a cartilage transplant on my knee and after years of healing and strengthening (and birthing twins) I found an incredible PT (@lmizzy7 ?) who helped me learn how to run effectively for the first time in my life. I worked hard to change my running form, core and gate, checking in with her over the last two years and making small changes along the way. And now I want to get faster and more efficient. So again, hard work and dedication is needed. Last weekend I had a run analysis done but the incredible @rebecca_mary7 . She asked me what my goal is. I said I want to feel good when I run. And so here I go. #dreambigworkhard #showupeveryday #wattieink
