Pinwheel Day is March 19th- the birthday of our son Lincoln, who passed away 9 days before his 2nd birthday. This year he would be turning 8 years old which is hard to believe. We miss him every minute of every day. Pinwheel day was created as a day to honor him by making someone's heart spin, eyes twinkle, and day burst with joy. It’s a day to serve others, do random acts of kindness, think of others, and bring joy to someone else’s life. Lincoln loved to spin things so let's spin hearts on Pinwheel Day!Ways to spin hearts can be as easy as longer hugs, extra kisses, more time playing with your little ones, kind words, a phone call to say, "I love you", smiling from ear to ear like Lincoln always did, doing kind deeds and acts of service, being gentle, helping others and most importantly slowing down enough to enjoy your day and be grateful for the blessings you have. Make Pinwheel Day full of spinning hearts in honor of our Lincoln. We wanted to provide another way to support Pinwheel Day so my husband created this shirt which is available for purchase through Amazon. All of our proceeds will be donated to The Kindering Center, which is a birth-to-three program that serves children with special needs. Lincoln had developmental delays and received services from the Kindering Center. Shirts are available in 5 different colors. Men’s, women’s, kids.
